Fashion Comic Book: Vans x Jesse Jo Stark
After the huge success of Jesse Jo Stark’s first collection for Vans, she’s commissioned a sequel with more backpacks, more leopard print, deconstructed accessories, cut-out dresses, distressed denim, velvet fabrics and an awesome pair of velvet lace-ups. I truly adore Jesse Jo. I’m a huge fan of her as both a musician and designer. She’s such a breath of fresh air, re-inventing the norm with her shocking but care free looks. She definitely embraces the gritty decadence that is LA grunge. I actually have the backpack from her first collection and it’s AMAZING…I wear it everywhere. So, I’m so excited for this new Americana-infused, rock n’ roll collection (available soon on Vans.com)! It emphasizes feminine shapes while staying true to her tough, tomboyish style.
