Current Obsession: Bohemian Society
I was recently invited to attend the Bohemian Society SS12 fashion show (appropriately titled SUPERNATURAL) by my great friend and assistant designer Lucas Logan. The Bohemian Society was founded by Victor Wilde in 2003 and based in Downtown Los Angeles. It’s described as mens and womens high art garments, accessories, films, Skullduggery, art thuggery, and cultural phenomena…you can’t help but be intrigued! The event was held at the Ace Gallery, which made me happy becasue I also got a chance to see some amazing artwork, gorgeous fashion models posed as sculptures, and then the actual runway show. All in all, the show was amazing. My favorite pieces were the lace bodysuit and the dip dye blazer…not to mention their addition of spikes and studs to so many of the pieces (which I am totally obsessed with right now).
