Travie McCoy Raps In Spanish On Gym Class Heroes ‘95% Complete’ New Album

As Warped Tour 2011 dwindles down to it’s last days, Buzznet lassoed in a few more interviews at the Carson date. The highlight of our day was talking to Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy about Papercut Chronicles II, which is “95% finished” even though the release date is still to be determined. Travie told us the story behind ‘Spanish Fly’ and how he took a leap by rapping in Spanish on the last verse of the song.

“For the last verse, I rap in Spanish–which has never been done by me. I might get critiqued a bit on my español, but it is what it is. I took a stab at it.”

The band just released their music video for ‘Stereo Hearts‘ ft. Adam Levine, one of the songs they’ve been playing live along with ‘Solo Discotheque’.

GCH will be one of the headliners playing Fueled By Ramen’s 15 Anniversary show in NYC.
