Kat Von D’s ‘LA Ink’ CANNED!
Poor Kat Von D! It doesn’t seem like it’s her year. First the breakup with Jesse James, then the beef with the Good Day LA crew and now her TV show is getting the ax! Apparently the current season of LA Ink will also be its last.
PEOPLE reports that TLC announced today that they are canceling Kat Von D’s tattoo shop series after four seasons on the air.
“TLC has decided that the current season of LA Ink will be its last,” they said in a statement. “The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D’s journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles. The series finale will air September 15th at 10 p.m.”
TLC seems to be on a canceling spree this week: on Monday, they announced the cancellation of Kate Gosselin’s show, Kate Plus 8.
*Update: Kat clarified on her Twitter that it was she who decided to discontinue the show, NOT TLC.
