Kaley Cuoco’s Shocking Replacement as Teen Choice Awards Host
With the Teen Choice Awards happening this Sunday, August 7th, one would think that replacing an important aspect of the show would be a risky move with less than a week to go. Actress Kaley Cuoco, who was last seen in this year’s Hop and star of TV’s The Big Bang Theory, was announced as the host for this year’s festivities just last Tuesday.
Unfortunately, it was just announced today that Kaley was unexpectedly replaced as the Teen Choice Awards host. No confirmation on the reason for the last minute switch, although word on the rumor mill is that producers of the show wanted someone younger for a major, surefire ratings boost. Fortunately, the surprise newly-appointed host will be making their FIRST-EVER appearance on an awards show stage.
