A number of these TV shows went on to be remade into movies in recent times: the 2007 flick Alvin and the Chipmunks, 2007’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 2009’s GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra starring Channing Tatum, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Sienna Miller, and the latest Transformers 3 starring Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese.
