‘The Voice’ To Go On Tour This Summer
Following in the footsteps of American Idol and Glee, the NBC hit singing competition show The Voice will be sending their finalists out on tour this summer.
According to Billboard, the tour will feature the eight finalists, including Beverly McClellan, Vicci Martinez, Dia Frampton, Javier Colon, Nakia, Xenia, Casey Weston and Frenchie Davis.
Unfortunately the show’s coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton will not join the tour. According to Billboard sources, the tour organizers wanted the foursome to join the show’s contestants but talks apparently broke down over compensation.
What a bummer! That would have been awesome to see!
Despite not participating oaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have already taken to Twitter to express their excitement.
Adam tweeted the following, which has since been deleted:
“LevineTeam members @Javstwtr and @casey_weston are hitting the road in July for #TheVoice Live on Tour. Go check them out. You can thank me later.”
