Lady Gaga to Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour: ‘YEAH, B*TCH!’

Reblogged from janet

According to Socialite Life, Lady Gaga called Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour a (dramatic tone music) bitch via text message. Have no fear Gaga fans, this probably isn’t what you think it is. There was no Chris Brown-esque diva-off with GMA chairs thrown haphazardly at windows or a Britney Spears-esque flip-out with large cars being smashed to pieces by umbrellas. What ensued was merely a wild identity mishap.

Upon being alerted by Anna on her phone via text message that she had received the Icon Award at the CDFA Fashion Awards, Gaga replied, “Yes, bitch, we did it!” She later claimed that she believed the Anna who had texted her was her stylist’s assistant. Gaga soon realized her mistake, however, when she received another text shortly after, saying, “How lovely, and we will all be waiting to see what you will wear.”

A confused Gaga paused at her phone for a minute — hey, wouldn’t her stylist’s assistant know what she was going to wear that night? — when she realized she had called Anna Wintour a bitch. Uh-oh, spaghettio… Sudden flashbacks to every time you’ve accidentally sent a flirty message to your parents, right?

Even when accepting the Icon Award, Gaga said, in reference to the mishap, “I can’t believe I’m allowed in here. When I was told I won this award, Anna Wintour sent me a text message… She text messages!”

Think it could have been a subconscious Freudian slip? After all, in September of 2010 on Jimmy Fallon, Anna Wintour claimed (very disapprovingly, I might add) that Gaga refused to go on stage until she had finished communing with God and his holy voice had told her it was okay to go onstage… a pre-show ritual that lasted an entire 45 minutes.

PS. Oh Gaga… Are you wearing your own face on your dress right now…? ._.

Have you ever had an embarrassing faux-pas like this?
