Jessica and Ashlee Simpson Team Up To Start a Clothing Line

Sisters haven’t been this cute since the Olsen twins Mary-Kate and Ashley created a line when THEY were tweens! Singer Jessica Simpson and her little sis Ashlee Simpson will embark on a new project together: creating a fashion line aimed at tweens as part of the Jessica Simpson Collection.

According to PEOPLE, the line, which is geared toward the “fashion-forward tween,” will feature sportswear, denim, and activewear styled after Simpson’s “girly, playful attitude.” What’ll be for sale? Items such as knit tops, hoodies, pullovers, striped shrunken knits, graphic T-shirts, drawstring pants, footwear and outerwear will all be available for purchase once the line is completed.

Jessica and Ashlee will serve as co-creative directors for the line.

“Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand,” Jessica tells WWD. “I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens.”

Supportive sis Ashlee completely agrees with her big sis, saying, “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help inspire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.”

The Simpson sisters’ tween clothing line will be available starting this coming fall.

Kudos to the sisters – hope this project will bring you even closer than you ladies already are!

Would you buy clothes from their fashion line? What do you think of both Ashlee’s and Jessica’s styles?
