Good friends are hard to kill. This photo was taken one year ago.

Everyone in their 20s goes through doubt, questions where they are going, who they are dating, and wonder what the hell they are supposed to do next. Thank god for friends.

(My) Jennie, Katie and Chelsea have all become my family out here in LA. They have listened to me cry (a lot), held my hand, jumped around with me at shows, given endless advice and made me laugh when I needed it. (Kings cup?)

Can’t believe I have only known these lovely gals for only a year.

I had already mentioned in a previous post that a big lesson I learned this year is about relationships and what it means to earn trust. Building these three friendships has taught me so much that I am so thankful for. None of us are perfect (because nothing is), but they always have an extra hug to give and a moment to listen to me talk about that same damn thing (or person) that has been ‘grinding my gears’ lately.

They came into my life during a very difficult time and have had my back every step of the way. They have been kind, compassionate, encouraging and have instilled a level of confidence that I have never had before.

They are three amazing women who all have individual things that I admire about them and appreciate. I would have never thought I would move to LA and make real friends, but I guess I am the lucky one.

So, thank you ladies.

Enjoy the relationships (new and old) you have in your life and take care of them.

Man that was a fun night.

…. and wow look at my blonde hair!
