‘Glee’ Star Chris Colfer: Singer, Actor, Dancer… Writer?
Looks like Chris Colfer can add one more title to his resume: book author. Is there anything he CAN’T do?! The 21-year-old Glee star recently signed a two-book deal with publisher Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The first of the two books, entitled The Land of Stories, will be due out summer 2012 and tells the story of twins Alex and Connor Bailey and be a fast-paced adventure series that combines the modern world with fairytales. It will target readers ages 8-12 and be followed by a second novel that is yet to be titled.
“When I was 10 years old, I promised myself that if I ever had the opportunity to write this book, I would jump at the chance,” Chris said in a statement made Wednesday. “This book has been at the core of my imagination for a long time and I’m excited and nervous to share it.”
Books aren’t the only thing Chris could write: he has also penned a Disney Channel original pilot.
