Electric Daisy Carnival 2011
This past weekend I attended the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas, NV. For those who don’t know, EDC is North America’s largest dance music event. It’s a 3 day electronic music festival featuring an array of attractions, full-sized carnival rides, art installations and hundreds of performers. My favorite performers at the fest were Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Empire of the Sun, Röyksopp, MSTRKRFT, Skrillex and Steve Aoki! It was the first time the annual gathering took place in Sin City and there were around 200,000 people in attendance. I had such a great time with my friends frolicking around the festival…if you’re a true fan of techno or electronic music (like me), you’ll definitely enjoy this festival!
