No Doubt To Release Long-Awaited Sixth Album

Finally! After ten years since No Doubt‘s last studio album, Rock Steady, the band is on the brink of a comeback with their sixth yet-to-be-named album. Gwen, Tony, Adrian and Tom have been hard at work over the past months recording the new album, which they’ve been writing since 2008.

Rolling Stone reported that the album is about two months from completion – which means that we should expect to see it come to fruition sometime in the near future (fingers crossed!), although no dates have been set.

Confirmed tracks on the upcoming release include “Settle Down,” a reggae-inspired party jam, and “One More Summer,” a catchy, guitar-heavy, ska-inspired track backed by dance beats.

So what have the rockers been doing for the past ten years? Well, Gwen Stefani‘s had quite a successful solo career, to say the least. She’s also designed two clothing lines, L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers, and gotten married. Oh, and one more thing: Babies, babies, babies! There are eight children among the members of the band, who took their families with them on their 2009 world tour. Is this the next generation of ska-rockers? No Doubt Jr., perhaps? Time will only tell…

For now, get pumped for the new album and stay up-to-date with the band on their website at www.nodoubt.com.
