Britney Spears “I Wanna Go” Music Video Concept In Captures
Yesterday it’s been the world premiere of new Britney’s music video “I Wanna Go”, in a day it’s been viewed almost 3 million of times, woooow!!! It’s so cool! I’m really really proud of all this success!

Press conference. Press and paparazzi are wearing ‘Britney Spears- I Wanna Go’ lanyards.
Someone writes Directed by: Chris Marrs Piliero on their notepad.
Britney walks on (wearing some FIERCE studded Louboutins, jeans and the cropped mouse top) and anyone who says that those abs aren’t hers can quite frankly leave their opinions at the door- she looks amazing.
Press stand up one by one and ask her ridiculous questions, which Britney answers. Her comic timing here is SUPERB. Highlight for me is “Britney! Does this suit make me look fat?” “… Yes.” In the end she gets annoyed at all the inane questions and leans into the mic to say “You know what? Fuck you, fuck you, and fuck you.” and only to the man with the crown says: “You’re cool!” then walks out.
She steps out onto the street wearing the white leather jacket/black frilly skirt combo that we’ve seen in all the stills as the song starts.
She walks outside of a hotel and greets a guys who asks her to sign a copy of Femme Fatale. She does so and during the line “Be a little inappropriate…” she squeezes his bum.
Cuts away to close-ups of her singing into the mic. Back on the street, she walks off and the guy backflips. She continues to walk down the street past people, she blows a kiss to a baby in a buggy who whistles in time to the whistles in the song.
Police cars. A very attractive cop walks up to a man in a parked car, to give him a ticket. Brit spots him from across the street and pulls her jacket open, seemingly flashing him. We see a shocked boy and his father across the street, Brit winks at them. The cop looks at her. As the chorus starts, he has her bent over a car while he searches her. He feels up and down her legs while she sings into camera. More cutaway shots of her close-up with the mic. Brit now turns round and puts her arms round the cop, he gives a ‘knowing’ look.
As the next verse starts, Brit is walking away from the cop, swinging his handcuffs round her finger while we see him buttoning up his shirt behind her. She walks down the street and a paparazzi start walking with her and taking photos of her. She stops and poses for some photos, and blows a kiss to the camera before walking up to him and grabbing his camera and throwing it on the floor, smashing it. More cutaway shots of her close-up with the mic. More paparazzi appear and she runs off, jumping up on top of a NYC taxi. The close-up of her going “Ooh” after the “need release” here is AMAZING.
She is tired to be always followed and start to beat the paparazzi with her mic while she’s continuing to sing the refrian of the song
After all the paparazzi have been knocked to the floor by her mic, she looks pleased with herself. But this soon turns to shock as one by one they get back up again with burst wires etc hanging from their faces where she has hit them- they are all robots! She looks around from atop the taxi as they close in on her, their faces bursting with electric wires, and their eyes all glowing red. One of the robots looks at her and we see their POV- a red ‘robot screen’ with the words ‘Primary Target’ written across it as it locks in on Britney.
A car pulls up and screeches to a halt behind her. An overweight middle-aged guy inside yells “Britney, get in quick!” and they screech off, as she dances in the passenger seat in her pink bikini top. As they drive along the guy pulls out a carton of milk from behind the drivers seat and pours it all over his face, Britney looks at him and bites her lip. She continues to dance in the passenger seat, standing up as they drive along, and he dances as well. His chest starts to spark as he dances, she pulls open his jacket to reveal that he is also a robot.
We cut back to the press conference as it fades it- seemingly, it was all a dream. The press are still asking questions, Britney’s bouncer steps in and says “No further questions.” The bodyguard is the guy who picked her up in the car in her dream. She turns to him and says “I had the strangest dream!” and he says “I love dreams. And seashells.” before putting a pile of seashells into her hand. He then says “Come on, let’s get out of here.” and puts his arm around her, leading her off. As he does so he turns to the camera and his eyes glow red, and there is an evil laugh (Thriller tribute!)
Easily her best video of this era, if not one of her best videos ever. No dance routines, but it’s funny and a bit goofy which is exactly what Britney is so her personality shines right through. None of you will be disappointed.
