that actually got me thinking.
xavier de rosnay was literally on the verge of tears at his best friend’s wedding. what does this say about them? past the fact that i ship them and to the fact that they’re bandmates and best friends. i mean, he may have been upset that gaspard was stupid/drunk enough to marry a random girl in las vegas, but he wouldn’t have been that upset over it. he looked seriously broken over it and of course, he was drunk too. so that probably helped him to layer on the mood a little heavier than he meant to, but at the same time, the truth tends to come out when you’re drunk. and he was legitimately upset about it. idk.

but the fact that during the vows xavi kept trying to look away and stare at his hands, make faces and ignore them and then would reach to be passed more alcohol while sitting in the pews means that he really really didn’t want it to be happening or to even be witnessing it, and to just forget all about it and refuse to acknowledge their marriage : (
