WIN A Signed Copy Of Matthew Morrison’s New Self Titled Solo CD!

With the school year coming to a close, Glee‘s Matthew Morrison can now enjoy his summer vacation… well, not really. Instead of taking time off during the Glee hiatus, Morrison is getting ready to promote his self titled new debut solo album, which dropped on May 10th and instantly hit number 24 on the Billboard charts. Now, everyone’s favorite glee club director is kicking off a nationwide summer tour starting with a show at Minneapolis’ Orpheum Theatre on June 18.

Morrison was originally slated to play his own solo tour but he canceled the summer dates to join the New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys tour instead. Morrison is set to perform with the supergroup NKOTBSB starting on their July 6th show in Anaheim. In a statement regarding the pairing with NKOTB, Morrison says:

“This was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. I am so appreciative of my fans and I’m planning to give them a great show.”

Ohhh, you know what would make for a killer show? If Morrison got on stage with NKOTB and rocked some of those classic moves to “You Got It (The Right Stuff)!”

Our friends at Celebuzz talked to Backstreet Boy Nick Carter about Matthew joining the Boys on tour, who had this to say:

“[Matthew] wanted to come on the tour with us and we all thought it was a great match. It’s a big, exciting event. We’re all pulling a lot of things together.”
