I fell in love with these bags. There use to be a stand at the Fairfax flea market that sold some, but since I have been looking its gone. These Mochila bags are made by Wayuu Tribeswomen and each bag takes over 40 hours to make! The bags are for sale here and the proceeds from the sales go back to the Wayuu people.
I ordered a lime green and black one! The perfect summer bag, and the cause makes it even better. Shopping is fun… but even more rewarding knowing its going to help someone out.
