James Franco Graduates From NYU, Getting His 25th Degree

Does this guy ever go on vacation? Higher education addict James Franco graduated from New York University yesterday, getting what seems to be his 25th degree.

Joining the class of 2011, James was seen sporting the traditional cap and gown for his graduation from the prestigious NYU Tisch School of the Arts on Tuesday, reports E! Online.

With his newly acquired MFA degree in filmmaking, the Oscar-nominated actor also holds an MFA degree in creative writing from Columbia, studied fiction writing at Brooklyn College, poetry at Warren Wilson College in North Carolina, is currently working towards a Ph.D. in English at Yale University, has announced that he plans to attend classes at Rhode Island School of Design and most recently was accepted into the doctoral program in literature and creative writing at the University of Houston, which he plans to begin come fall 2012.

Whew! That was super exhausting just thinking about it.

But wait… fall 2012?? Why the yearlong deferment James? Turns out he’ll be teaching a grad-level film class about modifying poetry into short movies at now alma mater NYU.

And to think, some people don’t even get ONE college degree. Bravo James… now make more movies!

Would you rather: see James act and direct on the set of his new movie OR be in the class he teaches at NYU?
