The Hunger Games: Who’s Been Cast? Who’s Left?

Welcome to The Hunger Games, Elizabeth Banks, Ethan Jamieson, Tara Macken! The trio are the latest additions to the highly anticipated cast.

Elizabeth Banks has landed a major role in The Hunger Games, tweeting the news Thursday, according to the Huffington Post: “Yes! And I can now confirm I’m EFFIETRINKET in @TheHungerGames. So excited!”

Effie Trinket is the adult escort and sometimes protector of the story’s heroes Katniss, Peeta and Gale, teenage warriors battling in a nationally broadcast fighting tournament on a post-Apocalyptic vision of Earth.

The casting of the two relative unknowns, Ethan Jamieson and Tara Macken, was announced via the Official Hunger Games Facebook page. The two will be playing the unnamed tributes of District 4.
