Avril Lavigne Makes Rays Fans Angry
Reblogged from Clarissa Anne
Avril Lavigne was performing at the Tampa Bay Rays field when a few technical difficulties occurred. While performing at the summer concert series, one microphone went out during her first song which blocked out most of her singing. Some people in the audience had no problem with that, which is when Avril went on a profanity yelling spree.
This upset spokesman Rick Vaughn who apologized to the fans directly by saying:
“The Rays demand profanity-free performances from all of our concert performers and we are extremely disappointed by the language used in last night’s show. It is not consistent with the family-friendly atmosphere that Tropicana Field is known for.”
Avril dropped a few f-bombs when she was yelling at the fans who booed her. Some fans in the crowd said they weren’t directed at anyone in particular, but Avril’s angsty attitude doesn’t make her look innocent. She speaks her mind and makes sure everyone hears her.
Do you think Avril was right to drop a few f-bombs even though spokesman said they demand profanity-free performances? Or would you boo her, too?
