And finally we arrived to the last post about ZIMMER 483 album, with the last four songs of this second album

NACH DIR KOMMT NICHTS

The sonorities

Unplugged atmospheres with a acoustic guitar that rattles off the chords and Bill who sings by “lover”. A love a little bit full blooded because he turns up the voice in the refrain, enough linear in an end full of force where Bill makes to know really good the words: “Ich hasse dich”, “I hate you”. The message

The sonorities

Tom leaves acoustic guitar for the electric one with a more clear and powerful sound, full of effects (a little gift to 70s style), accompanying bass line that rest on the main melody. Relaxed atmosphere is soon broke to a refrain with a distortion in close-up. These two parts add each other and, how usually happens in Tokio Hotel’s compositions, follow a more energetic part to the guitar, then a more calm bridge, without drums, almost a cappella, and in the end the refrain is reprised with some difference. It’s from solid track like this one that we understand that Tokio Hotel have found their form and they know use it in the better way for release a lot of great quality songs.

The message

Waiting a pill created by the science for an eternal life, the only one thing that humanity is the art. Immortality conquered thanks own works impressed in the memory is the theme of this song written by Bill (Wir bleiben immer. Schreiben uns in die ewigkeit”, “We will stay forever. We will write us in the eternity”). It’s also a song for all the people who hopes the end of this band from a day to another. Bill explains to them that, if Tokio Hotel’s adventure should finish, their music and the words they sung will stay impressed in the memory of the fans (“Wir fühlen, wir sind furs end nicht bereit. Wir sterben niemals aus. Ihr tragt uns bis in alle Zeite”, “We aren’t ready to the end. We’ll never die. You’ll take us with you for the eternity”). Tokio Hotel’s influence on fans is so strong that their imagine never disappear from their minds (“Macht ihr für uns weiter wenn wir nichts mehr können. Werdet ihr unsere Sätze in die Ewigkeit benden”, “Will you continue for us when we couldn’t anymore? Will you finish our phrases for the eternity?”). How for WO SIND EURE HÄNDE, this song is a thank for the fans (“Jetz hab ich keine Angst mehr, mach vorn zu sehen den ab heute weiss ich, das wir nicht einfach so gehen”, “Now I’m not scared anymore to look on because from today I know that we don’t go away so easy”). This song, who sign the debut for twins’ duet (voice with guitar), has a tragic charm for the bass tones of the piano and the suffering melody of the sing. Gustav uses drums for accentuate the seriousness of the song while Georg is more quiet, only supporting Bill and Tom’s expressed pain, that it ends with a final refrain sung by Bill with a children chorus, and with a last riff and orchestral accents. Great work.

The message

For the first time, Tokio Hotel approach with a humanitarian theme in one of their songs. Bill doesn’t talk also about poverty in a general way, but instead he talks about what happen to children who live a life different to the others. Those sick or abandoned babies, fight for have a little bit of life how almost all the babies on earth (“’n ganz normaler tag, die strasse wird zum grab”, “In a day as an another, street becomes a grave”). Direct and without metaphors for to shock who listen (“Wir friert ist zu schwach. Niemand wird sie zahln. Niemand had sie gesehen”, “Who is cold is too much weak. No one will count them. No one have seen them”), lyrics arrive at the aim: remember to the more lucky that poor need them. “Everyone of us had the luck to live a happy childhood, but in the world there are a lot of forgotten children (vergessene kinder)! With this song we wanna say: “You aren’t alone, we won’t turn your back on!” says Bill.

AN DEINER SEITE (ICH BIN DA)

The sonorities

The last song of ZIMMER 483, and 3rd single, it’s the perfect song for end the album. Tom uses a lot of effects, giving piano sonorities to his guitar: amazing! The track ends as it starts: with a delicate Bill who sings and Tom’s acoustic guitar. A serene final for the album. A romantic ballad. Tears guaranteed.

The message

A shoulder where can cry, a hand to hold for to find comfort, a smile for cancel the darkness around us, this is what Bill wants to say with this song. Simple and without double sense, the words evoke even an idea of a friendly or lovely support and take a little bit of happiness in Tokio Hotel’s universe. The person who needs of Bill isn’t really good (“Du schreibst Hilfe mit Deinem Blut”, “You write “help” with your blood”), but in the end all turn back as before because she knows her angel will be there for support in her hard proves. And if she should doubt, he is there for remind it to her. A beautiful love declaration for close in sweetness an album enough serious. “With this song we wanted to say to our parents and friends who supported us in last years that doesn’t matter where we are arrived, you can count on us!”
