Lindsay Lohan Receives A Standing Ovation

She may be going through plenty of legal troubles, but Lindsay Lohan‘s still got her supportive fans! Lindsay stopped by The Tonight Show with Jay Leno for her first TV appearance since being sentenced to jail, and received a warm welcome in the form of a standing ovation from the crowd.

The studio audience was completely welcoming of Lindsay and thrilled she would come and chat, according to RadarOnline. Unfortunately, Broadway and sometimes-Glee star Kristin Chenoweth had to be bumped due to Lindsay’s surprise Leno visit.

During her surprise visit to Leno, Lindsay revealed that her recent 120-day jail sentence for probation violation was “shocking” and that the sentence “left her numb.”

Jay asked Lindsay, “At what point did you realize, ‘Oh my God, I could lose this, this could slip away from me?’”

“I think that when, you know, being young and being in the position I was in, you don’t really take the time to appreciate what you have and it’s all kind of a whirlwind, and people make decisions for you,” Lindsay said. “But I’m not a kid anymore — I’m 24, I’ve made a lot of mistakes and I recognize that. I’m in the clear now, and as long as I stay focused, I can achieve what I want to achieve.”

Aside from her legal woes, Lindsay also confirmed that she will indeed join the cast of Gotti: Three Generations alongside John Travolta.

Lindsay’s interview with Jay Leno airs tonight on NBC.
