Panic! at the Disco to Release Short Film for “Vices and Virtues”

So, with their new album set to release IN A MATTER OF WEEKS and following up on the awesome that is their video for “The Ballad of Mona Lisa,” Panic! at the Disco has announced their plans for their next video project.

Well, it’s more of a film, really. A short film containing parts of four songs off of Vices and Virtues.

Brendon Urie, the band’s lead singer, has said “We’ve had the idea for a while – not to shoot a full video, but shoot a short montage of songs from the record and put a little story together.”

Panic’s video history has been greatly varied, but for this project they’ll be working with Shane Drake, who directed the videos for “I Write Sins, Not Tragedies” and “The Ballad of Mona Lisa.” As for the contents of the short film? Well, according to Brendon “We love the music, but under that we want to make things as dramatic and theatrical as possible. There’s dancing, there’s choreography and a lot of cool little surprises. We can’t wait to show you guys!”

Trust me, Brendon, we can’t wait to see.
