Kat Dennings, Chad Michael Murray and Travie McCoy To Star In TWLOHA Biopic

Last week our friends from the charity, To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA) announced they are in the midst of filming a movie based on the real-life drama of Renee Yohe, the inspiration for the charity, which was founded by Jamie Tworkowski.

For those of you who don’t know TWLOHA, the charity supports young people struggling with drug addiction, depression, self-injury and suicide. It’s an important organization that is committed to helping those of us who get lost and lose the ability to help ourselves and it has had the support of some of our favorite bands and artists including Paramore, Anberlin, Panic At The Disco, Boys Like Girls, Miley Cyrus and Bayside.

The movie hosts a supremely cool cast including Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill), Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist), Mark Saul (The Social Network), Rupert Friend (The Young Victoria), Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) and Travie McCoy, who is also playing on the soundtrack along with Rachael Yamagata and a host of other artists yet to be announced.

Stay tuned as we bring your more news about this incredible project as well as more on TWLOHA, who have partnered with us to give out goodies at our SXSW showcase.
