Inside Scoop: Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low to Appear on Simple Plan Album

Buzznet caught up with Jack Barakat and Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low while they were in Texas for Never Say Never Festival. They talked a bit about their upcoming album, Dirty Work–and although they’ve yet to announce a release date, they did talk about how the song ‘Time Bomb’ became theirs.

Singer Alex Gaskarth explained, “Time Bomb was a song that Simple Plan–Chuck and Pierre–were originally coming up with, with Matt Squire at the same time I was writing with Matt Squire. Basically they hit a wall with it and Squire was like ‘Check this song out, maybe you’ll like it–maybe you’ll relate to it.'”

Jack and Alex were stoked for the opportunity to work with Chuck and Pierre on the song, who they said “Are the nicest dudes ever. And they speak French. And that’s hot.”

Additionally, Alex revealed, “I got to do a little something on their record, too.”
