Hellogoodbye Hometown Show!!

Last night I headed out to Chain Reaction to catch Hellogoodbye’s last date of their headlining tour! I was really looking forward to the evening since it was a SOLD OUT hometown show! Jukebox the Ghost, Gold Motel and Now, Now Every Children were also on the lineup for the night!

In case you weren’t aware, Greta Morgan from Gold Motel used to sing in a band called The Hush Sound, who broke up in early 2009. As an old The Hush Sound fan from back in the day, it was really awesome to see Greta back up on the stage doing her thing! I really enjoyed watching Gold Motel perform; the band has such a presence on stage and really knows how to draw the crowd in.

HOW AWESOME IS THIS VINYL?

It has definitely been a few years since I’ve seen Hellogoodbye and it was awesome to see them rock out on the Chain Reaction stage. It’s really something special to see a band perform in front of their fans that watched them grow in they’re home town. “It’s always a hott night playing at Chain Reaction” frontman Forest Klein stated after playing Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn. The energy from both Hellogoodbye and the fans really showcased that the band is still rocking it after 10 years.

What is your favorite Hellogoodbye song?
