Eliza Dushku Returns To TV, New Show On CBS
Buffy fans rejoice: Eliza Dushku is returning to TV! The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel actress announced on her official Facebook profile that she is making a comeback to TV in the fall.
Eliza, who was last seen in the Joss Whedon series Dollhouse on FOX, is taking a different route with a new comedy pilot with Damon Wayans for CBS.
From Eliza’s Facebook: “It is with insanest excitement & awesomeness I get to finally fill you guys in: I’ve JUST landed a new CBS comedy pilot w/ my comic idol Mr. Damon Wayans! Stay tuned, there is a serious happy dance occurring at the moment 😉 xx!”
Sounds like a Buffy reunion on CBS is in order: in January, Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) announced she’d landed a fall pilot of her own for CBS, and Alyson Hannigan (Willow) is currently on How I Met Your Mother, which is also a CBS show.
