Britney Spears Teams Up With Enrique Iglesias For North American Tour

Today is a big day for Britney Spears: her new album Femme Fatale was released, she had a nationally televised (and highly anticipated!) performance on Good Morning America, and some big news was released. There was some talk of it yesterday, but now it’s been confirmed: Britney is teaming up and co-headlining the North American leg of her upcoming tour with none other than Enrique Iglesias!

The tour begins June 17 in Sacramento and will play 26 arenas in the first round of dates to be announced. It is likely that more dates will be added.

The tour will be produced by Live Nation, and tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. Additional on-sale dates will be announced at a later date. Citi cardmembers will also have access to presale tickets through Citi’s Private Pass Program.

What do you think of Britney and Enrique headlining? Do you like the idea, or do you think she should have headlined on her own?
