Valley Girl…
I am a huge collector of Magazines….well, more appropriately a hoarder. For some reason I can’t bring myself to throw them away. I have everything from old issues of Sassy Magazine to indeciferable issues of Nylon Japan. But nonetheless, it’s amzing how some styles are timeless and serve as great references for inspiration. Check out one of my favorite spreads of the beautiful Russian model Vlada Roslyakova shot by David Vasilojevic from an old issue of Numéro Tokyo. The number of times the 80s has been referenced on the runway and in print recently has been unfathomable, and this “Valley Girl” spread is no different, filled with everything from scrunchies to acid wash jeans. it’s totally retro….I love it! I would seriously wear EVERY single outfit in this spread…
