Molly Surno’s photography has captivated me. In her newest series entitled, “The Glittering World” about a transgendered beauty pageant for Native Americans, her passion for how subcultures are brought together is obvious. Surno also has musicians compose original works for her short films; popular experimental film society called Cinema 16 in New York City, which has now expanded to other USA cities and internationally.
