Leaked Sample of Panic! At the Disco’s ‘The Ballad of Mona Lisa.’ YES PLEASE!

So, if you’re like me, you are holding your breath with excitement over the upcoming new Panic! at the Disco album.

We should really stop that, though. Humans need to breath. Breathing is good for us. Let’s all take a breath and then continue, shall we?

ANYWAY: Yes, many of us are excited about Vices and Virtues, Panic!’s first album since their 2009 split, during which Ryan Ross and Jon Walker left to form The Young Veins (who are now themselves on a “hiatus”). And the question has lingered “How are they going to sound?” Since A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out and Pretty. Odd. had such diverse sounds, where is the band headed in 2011?

Well, if this leaked bit of their first single “The Ballad of Mona Lisa” is REAL, then it’s a good hint:

Seems pretty legit, right? I mean, Brendon Urie’s voice is kind of hard to fake, so it stands to reason this is some of their new material.

What do you guys think? I’m really digging this little clip, but it’s so short and so hard to tell! I can’t wait to hear the whole thing.
