Give A Little, Get A Lot: Valentine’s Day Is Coming To Buzznet
I know it’s a tad early, but what the HAAAAY GIRLFRIEND, better now than never. I am prone to forgetting. Once, when I was small, I forgot to feed my goldfishes, Lady Guinevere and Lord Skimbleshanks. I came home one day after school and found only the tail of Lord Skimbleshanks floating in the bubble stream of the annoying scuba diver/treasure chest decoration that sat perilously at the bottom of their tank. I cursed Lady Guinevere & her black heart INTO THE TOILET BOWL. Anyway, I am not here to tell you about my sad youth and cannibal goldfish. I am here to tell you about how we are getting ready to get all Valentine’s Day up in here.
In the above photo, you see (from left to right) Iska handing me a card. Then, I’m handing Boodidly Blue a card. Boo then hands Iska a card. We will be trading cards here on the Buzznet. This is how we will do it.
If you want to be paired up with someone, you need to do two things. First, JOIN THE PONY EXPRESS GROUP. Here’s a link to that:
Once you join the group, post a photo of yourself with a piece of paper that has the following info on it:
Your Name, Your Buzznet Name, and a big heart underneath it. This is how we in the Pony Express group will know you are SRS BSNS about doing this. This doesn’t need to be a WORK OF ART but obvs, creativity is awesome.
The Big Idea:
Once you have done those things, I will pair you up with someone. IF YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR PAIRED UP PERSON FOR SOME UNGODLY REASON, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
What we are going to do is MAKE VALENTINE’S DAY CARDS. They don’t have to be all “O HAI BB I LIEK YOU” and stuff, but just something neat and simple that’s all “O HAI JUST SENDING YOU SOME BUZZ LOVE” and such as it is. You know, say something nice, inspirational, etc etc. It’s a day for luvin’ on the Buzznet (not that every day already isn’t).
What kind of card you shall send:
Please make something awesome. Again, it doesn’t have to be this MIND BLOWING art that makes M.C. Escher cry in a corner because he’s realized his life has been a failure, but it’s awesome if you has mad skillz and get all CRAY CRAY with this idea. It can even be an e card you stole from some other place on the web, just plz don’t leave out the person you were paired up with. You can take a photo of something, draw a pictures, etc etc. Just make sure you upload it to Buzznet and the Pony Express Group. Then, leave it as a note on your new friends profile.
