Watch the First Teaser Trailer For ‘The Fall of the House of Usher” Starring William Beckett

Back in July we reported that William Beckett of The Academy Is… was set to star in a short film adapting Edgar Allen Poe’s classic story The Fall of the House of Usher. The film, written and directed by Nathan Wrann, is currently set for a 2011 release date.

To tide you over until then, however, we now have a teaser trailer.

The quote at the beginning of the trailer is actually the opening epigraph in the story. It’s a quote from the French songwriter Pierre-Jean de Beranger and translated into English, it means “His heart is a suspended lute, as soon as it is touched, it resonates.”

What do you think of the trailer? Personally, I’m curious to know if the entire film is going to be in a similar almost surrealist style.
