We Talk Fashion Inspirations with Style Blogger Kristin Reiter of Bleach/Black

Next up in our series of interviews with our favorite style bloggers, Kristin Reiter from the site Bleach/Black. Besides being a mandatory daily visit for anyone who loves fashion, Bleach/Black is unique in that it is, as Kristin and partner Valerie Kileen proudly proclaim on the “About” page, a “Conversational Fashion Diary.” The two women post about the things they covet (fringe, crystals, sky-high wedges, amongst other things) and in the semi-dialogue that is their site, their tastes both converge and diverge in interesting and imaginative ways. Both women are designers (Kristin for Nike and Valerie for a Skateboard company) and bring both their technical expertise and spot-on good taste to the blog that is the perfect blend of both high and low, edgy and estoteric, and is just all around rad. We talked to Kristen a little about, what else, fashion:

BUZZNET: Who are your style icons?

KRISTIN REITER: This one is so hard to answer and considering I’m involved in this on a daily basis… it’s always changing depending on the season, the mood etc.

BN: What is your absolute favorite item of clothing?

KR: Denim!

BN: What fashion trend do you wish would just go away already?

KR: That fucking ombre hair trend.

BN: If your style had a theme song, what would it be?

KR: “We Are The Champions” by Queen

BN: Describe your look in three words or less

KR: Epic chaos.
