Christian Siriano, the winner of Project Runway season 4, showed his Spring 2011 RTW collection two weeks ago. I was expecting frills and volume and extravagance. But instead I got…Michael Kors influence and tribal prints? And an awful bias cut gown in what seems to be sparkly gold polyester?
Christian, what happened to your flamboyant, show-stopping evening gowns and modern, edgy aesthetic? Why did you tone down your “hot tranny mess” self? Hopefully we’ll see something more impressive this fall.
