Buzz Guide: Ryan Kwanten, Weeds, Marina and the Diamonds
This week’s Buzz Guide is brought to you especially for those of you who are like
IMAGES AND LINKS AND PERSUASION! GO!
Music
This recommendation came to me from my bestie across the pond, KatyKatyKaty. Speaking of Katy’s… if Perry’s Teenage Dream is making you feel unsatiated in a hollow candy-pop sort of way, this is your antidote.
Listen to: “I am Not a Robot“
TV
I think I mostly like Nancy Botwin ’cause she has a thing with straws like I do. Anyway, I’m watching this season. Silas Botwin = hot. Shane Botwin = insane. Nancy Botwin = kind of my secret hero.
Internet
Voicemails set to music. Makes me almost want to listen to mine! Only not really. Poignant, though.
Books
The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May and June by Robin Benway
You know this author from Audrey, Wait! the superawesome tale of a girl who gets famous after she breaks up with her bf and he writes a song about her. This story isn’t music oriented at all, but you’ll get attached to the sisters and their secrets before you know it. Quality YA fiction and, in case you’re wondering, I most identify with May. She’s my girl.
Art
You, too, can afford art.
Boys
Ryan Kwanten
You know him as Jason Stackhouse, the attractive, well-meaning airhead on True Blood. Um, did you know? He’s Australian! Mmmmm accent.
