Britney Spears on Glee, Tragic.
One of my least favorite “musicians” is going to appear on one of my favorite television shows? No.
The new season of Glee premieres tomorrow night on Fox and I couldn’t be more excited. This is the only show I watch that I don’t think falls under the category of “guilty pleasure.” Nope, it doesn’t feature extremely rich housewives that get into cat fights and subject their children to the press. No, it’s not about over-tanned individuals from the shore of Jersey. And no, it has nothing to do with vampires.
Glee has value. Though it may be marginal, the show actually tries to rebuke typical high school social stereotypes and cliques by making fun of them, not embracing them like most shows aimed at teens (Gossip Girl, etc) do.
Tune into Fox tomorrow! The new season shall be great! Lea Michele (Rachel) has a new hairstyle! And Mark Salling (Puck) has seemingly gotten more attractive!
