Natalie Portman in a New Thriller…About BALLET?

So, when you think of ideas for a psychological thriller, “ballet rivals” probably doesn’t leap into your mind with a well-executed tour jeté. But add in Natalie Portman and Darren Aronofsky, who directed both The Wrestler and Requiem for a Dream, and you might just be onto something.

The film is called Black Swan and focuses on Portman’s character, a talented dancer who lands the role of the Swan Queen in Swan Lake, her love for her ballet teacher and her ongoing rivalry with another dancer, her understudy Lilly, played by Mila Kunis. Before you know it, there’s stalking, what appear to be crazy dream sequences and, apparently, a very intense girl on girl make-out.

So, Buzznet, tell me: how does this make you feel?
