She & Him Make Old Timey Video To Go With Their Old Timey Music
M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel make music that sounds like it snuck onto a time machine made of copper and gaskets to get to 2010 so it’s only fitting that their videos be grainy black and white romps through days of yore. The latest video for the She & Him track “Thieves” features a love story involving child versions of duo with cameos from Zooey’s ever indredulous eyes and what I can best identify as some sort of sombrero on M. Ward. The whole thing is cutesy and pretty and if you squint the youngen playing Ward kind of looks like Juan Valdez (but that’s neither here nor there). Watch the video below.
