Dangerous Fad: Circle Lenses

Though they may seem irresistible in the sense that they will give you wide, anime-like eyes, circle lenses are actually dangerous. They are made in Asia and banned in the US. No reputable doctor will distribute them because they do not properly fit the eye. This improper fit can deprive the eye of oxygen, which may damage your eyesight and leave you blind. Also, consumers are free to choose exactly what prescription they want—without the advice of a doctor. This definitely poses health risks. No matter how much you want the “Lady Gaga Bad Romance Look,” (which, by the way, is computer generated. No circle lenses could give you that big of a eye) do not risk your eyesight for this trend.
