Pete Wentz Provides More Shenanigans

A friend and I were recently talking about how Pete Wentz must be bored. After Fall Out Boy’s break-up hiatus thing that isn’t a break-up or a hiatus but they’re not in a band together anymore, Pete is the only member of FOB who hasn’t moved on to another project full time. Patrick Stump is working on his own album and Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley have helped form the supergroup The Damned Things. So what’s Pete up to?

Apparently? Shenanigans.

And of course, this happens when Miss Bree is on the Bamboozle Roadshow, so we cannot do what we normally do when something like this happens: IM each other with simpy the word “SHENANIGANS!”

Because, let’s face it, Pete Wentz tends to either be behind or involved in some kind of viral shenanigans on a regular basis. “Citizens for Our Betterment,” “Overnight Sensation,” and the MV and P firm to name a few. Hell, when unsigned band Ashbury along with their friend Alex DeLeon from The Cab decided to give Pete a taste of his own medicine, the internet refused to believe Pete himself wasn’t involved. If you missed any of this or just want to relive it? CFOBmania can help you out with that.

But now? We’ve got a site called “Choose Your Own Shenanigans.” And, at this time, a countdown saying “1 Day.”

Please join me in shaking your fist at your computer screen and screaming “DAMN YOU, WENTZ!”

And when you’re done, weigh in on what you think this might be. Pete’s boredom manifesting online? Viral for the new Panic! at the Disco album? Something to do with the rumored project Pete’s been working on with Mark Hoppus of Blink-182? A really good alternative to Pete taking up crochet?
