ANYway: yep, it’s that time! A brand new international trailer for Scott Pilgrim Vs The World is up online for your viewing pleasure.
While it rehashes some of the scenes from the epic first trailer, it also introduces some new stuff and reaffirms my belief that this comic-to-movie adaptation is going to be far more Watchmen than Catwoman.
I am loving so much about this. From the reference to Scott Pilgrim’s Precious Little Life (the title of the first volume in the SP series) to Ramona kicking ass with a giant hammer to the video game references to, you guessed it, Kim Pine. And the exchange at the end with evil vegan ex-boyfriend Todd Ingram? Awesome.
Also, wondering what music is used in this trailer? Well, since music is such a big deal in the Scott Pilgrim universe, it’s only fitting that Director Edgar Wright provided a helpful list!
