Washington Post Releases Annual Peep Show – Talk About Eye Candy

Yesterday the Washington Post released photos of one of their most glorious annual traditions, the Peeps Diorama contest. Over 1,100 submissions were received of our favorite Easter holiday confections being displayed sticky situations. Here is a glimpse of some of the winners. We hope you become inspired to make your very own Peep Show and we will post your pics on Easter Sunday! Check out this year’s winner and some of the finalist/semi-finalists below:

This Up inspired scene was created by Michael Chirlin and Veronica Ettle. It’s made out of popsicle sticks, magic, and yes, that balloon made of Peeps is headed straight to your tummy.

The wild side of Peeps has never been sweeter. This scene earned Margaret Cooney and Adam Matuszeski a semi-finalist spot and probably a place in your heart.

Mark Rivetti’s Super Mario Bros.-inspired scene speaks for itself. This definitley gets a 1-Up from us!

Carolyn Whitton makes the dark comedy works of Andy Rileya little more edible.

The Washington Post did a Peep-tastic job of rounding up some great stuff and now it’s YOUR TURN! We’d like to see if any of you creative folks out there can come up with your very own Peep Show inspired by whatever you like. Let’s just keep it clean! You can send your works to:
