Metro Station Premiers “Where’s My Angel” from Almost Alice

So, we’ve already heard Avril Lavigne’s “Alice (Underground)”, the credits song from Tim Burton’s upcoming Alice in Wonderland, as well as 3Oh!3 and Neon Hitch’s “Follow Me Down.” And last week we got yet another sneak peek at a track from the eagerly anticipated project. During a live Ustream chat, Metro Station premiered their song “Where’s My Angel?”

Gotta admit, I’m not loving it as much as 3Oh!3’s song (keep in mind I don’t really care for either Metro Station or 3Oh!3, so this isn’t playing favorites). It’s certainly not bad, and it’s got Metro Station’s synth touches in there. But it’s not grabbing me the same way “Follow Me Down” did on my first listen. However, I’m liking it much more than I like Avril’s song. Which I feel would have been much better performed by Paramore.

So, given these three tracks, how do you feel about “Almost Alice?” Keep in mind, it’s not going to be the film’s official soundtrack, the score is going to be done by Danny Elfman. But what do you think of it so far as a “music inspired by Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland” album? And which track do you hope we get a sneak peek at next? I’m pumped for Kerli’s, personally!
