3Oh!3 and Neon Hitch Unleash Their Contribution to “Almost Alice”

A lot of people, including myself, were extremely skeptical when the tracklisting for “Almost Alice” hit the internet. The list of scene-familiar names seemed to a lot of people very out of place in the Tim Burton project.

However, it’s since been revealed that “Almost Alice” will not be the film’s official soundtrack. The film will be scored by Danny Elfman, who has collaborated with Burton numerous times. “Almost Alice” is more of a “music inspired by” sort of CD. And boasting names like Kerli, Pete Wentz and Mark Hoppus, Tokio Hotel and All Time Low there’s sure to be some very interesting interpretations indeed.

Curiouser and curiouser about this release? Well, in order to satiate your palate, you can head to 3Oh!3’s Myspace and listen to “Follow Me,” their collaboration with Neon Hitch for “Almost Alice.

I have to admit, it’s catchy. I generally don’t care for 3Oh!3, but this song is actually pretty interesting. I think it makes me a little more hopeful for “Almost Alice” in general. How about you guys?
