30 Seconds To Mars Set Album Drop Date
A little over a week ago, Buzznet got confirmation that 30STM’s third album will be called This Is War. With all the hype and massive requests for fan involvement (oh, and there’s more) with this album, perhaps you’re wondering when you can actually own this disc.
According to their official website, that date is November 24th.
Now, about the additional fan involvement I mentioned–the upcoming album will have 2000 different album covers featuring individual photos of fans from around the world. Starting Thursday, September 11th at 12pm PDT fans will be able to submit photos to be used for the covers by pointing their browser to //www.thirtysecondstomars.com. The first 2000 photos to be uploaded that follow the proper specifications will become album covers. The campaign will run until 2000 usable covers have been uploaded to thefaceofmars@gmail.com.
Which means it already started, and you better hop to it.
Fall tour dates will be announced in the next few weeks, and the first single, “Kings and Queens” will hit the rock radio route early next month.
