Greta Salpeter Goes Solo
Greta Salpeter played a solo gig at The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles on March 8th, 2009. I didn’t write about it because I’m an oversheduled basketcase, but I think I told most of you just how amazing it was.

That night, the soulful songstress of The Hush Sound played some of her band’s songs AND some new songs. I had asked her if the new tunes she played were potentional Hush tracks and she said that the band was on a break and they didn’t have any plans to tour or record together. “We aren’t officially broken up, but we’re all really enjoying our time away.” You know, like No Doubt. They never broke up either.
Well, news came in today that lady G is in Santa Fe, New Mexico recording solo material.
According to a tweet from this weekend, the basic tracks are done for NINE songs! That’s so incredible, and I’m so excited to be hearing Greta’s voice on some new tunes soon!
