Fall Out Boy Duo Shoots for Guinness Book of Records: Take Two

Remember back in March when Fall Out Boy were trying to set a world record by being the first band to play all 7 (yes, 7, Pete) continents? Remember how that kinda fell through because Antarctica was apparently less than impressed with Infinity on High and responded like any angry fan would: becoming colder and colder?

Well, you can’t keep a good band down. Because now Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump are going to try for a world record once again.

On October 31st Pete and Patrick will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Most Interviews on Radio in a 24 Hour Period by a Pair of Two. The current record was set in May of this year and is 57 stations in 24 hours.

The broadcast will start at 3:00 PM PST on Halloween Day. No word yet on how to listen to it, but odds are we’ll hear something from Pete in his Friends or Enemies blog or on the official FOB website! Good luck to Pete and, um, “Patrick Vaughn Stump.”

Yeah, I don’t know what’s up with that EITHER.

Do you think the guys can do it? Want to wish them luck? Leave a comment!
