Remix Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown” for Free!
Kanye West is the man in hip hop today, and not just because of his flow and lyrical skills. Kanye is also one of the top producers and remix guys in the music world today, which he’s used to his own advantage (remixing “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” by Daft Punk for his hit single “Stronger”) or for other bands (for example, his awesome remix of “This Ain’t a Scene (It’s An Arms Race)” by Fall Out Boy).
But now, Kanye is giving fans the chance to remix one of his tracks. And unlike Radiohead, who charged to download the stems for the remix of their song “Reckoner,” Kanye’s giving you the stems for free.
You can head over to his blog to download the six stems. There’s no contest attached, just the chance to play around with one of his best tracks yet, and the first single from his next album 808s, set to come out “November somthing.”
