Lily Allen Feels Bullied, Blogs About It

Lily Allen co-hosted the GQ Men of the Year Awards with Sir Elton John and they had some feisty chemistry.

I thought it was kind of funny and authentic, as opposed to the snooze-fest that awards shows usually are. But of course, the media took a few stabs at her and this morning she retaliated in her MySpace blog by saying:

I turned up and presented an awards ceremony for charity, i drank some champagne and went home for 12.30 and again I’ve been made to feel like a bad friend and an embarassment to my fans and the people who support me. I shouldn’t have to defend myself when i’ve done nothing wrong. And by the way, to all the photographers waiting outside my house. I won’t be leaving for a while, all my friends have gone to Bestival and i’ve got enough food and fags to last me till wednesday, so you might as well fuck off and find somebody else to make miserable.

The full blog is here, but let me say this — you don’t ask Lily Allen to co-host an awards show because she’s known for good behavior. I get the feeling that anyone who hires Ms. Allen is expecting a certain percent of unscripted ‘tude, know what I mean?
